Our Experienced Vascular Access Specialists are highly qualified educational consultants who set the stage in developing a program to meet the needs to advance participants’ knowledge, skills and abilities through our vascular access training programs meeting the latest INS Standards.
We hold frequent vascular access training programs and/or you can schedule a program at your facility and request the program be tailored to meet your individual group needs for enhancing their skills and abilities.
4 Hour hands-on course: This course gives the skilled care provider a comprehensive overview of Peripheral IV insertion and care and maintenance of all Vascular Access Devices.
This Infection Prevention Pathway includes a comprehensive series of courses designed to guide the clinician to a better understanding of guidelines and best practices they should incorporate into everyday patient care practices.
This class is for the beginning inserter and includes two days of intensive training. Day 1 covers review and discussion of a basic PICC insertion and a practicum with simulated insertions. Day 2 integrates ultrasound assessment and guided access into the overall PICC insertion procedures.
Maintenance of PICCs requires a set of washing and sealing procedures.
