Marc has spent the past 15 years as an entrepreneur, owner and executive for several innovative medical start-ups. His business and managerial experience began in travel and hospitality, which he still loves and leverages to this day. In 2010 he and his wife founded Mobile Ultrasound of Idaho, as a staffing and imaging equipment lease company. In 2017 he acquired Allied Imaging Inc and First Peek 4D Ultrasound, adding to their imaging breadth and exposure. In 2025, with the support of franchisor Peak Mobile Vascular Access, he founded Idaho’s first mobile vascular access team – Allied Vascular Access. Through this organization, patients and medical facilities will benefit from accessible, convenient and affordable expert vascular nursing care. Marc understands and values the expertise of others and has built a team of the highest quality staff and contractors to bring forth his vision of a better health system in Idaho.
Marc is an Idaho native, married to his dream girl from a small Idaho town. He has two amazing daughters who will make their mark in the world someday. He enjoys time with family, friends, various fitness and sports activities and of course enjoying all that Idaho has to offer.
Katie Holzwarth is a board-certified Vascular access nurse with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. Katie’s clinical knowledge is vast as she has diverse experience from various departments and roles in different hospital systems. She has worked as a trauma nurse, a lead nurse for a wound clinic, an endoscopy nurse, and as a vascular access nurse. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the development of orientation programs and manuals, educational material for both patients and clinical staff, as well as policy and procedure documents for several hospitals. More recently she developed a comprehensive orientation and training program for a vascular access team at a regional medical center. This training program was implemented to onboard new staff and ensure compliance with industry standards. The training and orientation material emphasized key operational procedures, patient care protocols, and organizational values, significantly improving new hire retention and performance.
As a Vascular Access Nurse at Allied Imaging Katie will provide expert care for patients requiring long-term and short-term vascular access devices, including PICC lines, midlines, & peripheral IVs. Working independently outside the traditional hospital setting, she will collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to offer safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Her role focuses on enhancing access procedures, minimizing complications, and improving patient outcomes.
4 Hour hands-on course: This course gives the skilled care provider a comprehensive overview of Peripheral IV insertion and care and maintenance of all Vascular Access Devices.
This Infection Prevention Pathway includes a comprehensive series of courses designed to guide the clinician to a better understanding of guidelines and best practices they should incorporate into everyday patient care practices.
